This Saturday evening, 25 prospective Big Sisters and their eager potential Little Sisters will come to Sportsmen’s to spend some time getting to know one another on court, thanks to a long-standing partnership between Sportsmen’s and the Big Sister Association of Greater Boston.
The Big Sister Association goes to great lengths to help women and girls develop a bond before they are formally matched, to improve the success rates of these long-term partnerships.
Sportsmen’s helps by providing free access to the courts, coaches and volunteers, and light snacks. We’d love it if the Sportsmen’s family could help make this a success. The event will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
Want to volunteer?
Women and girls of all ages and tennis abilities (including non-players who want to help with food and organization) are encouraged to email Sportsmen’s Program Coordinator Gayna Sealy, at GSealy@sportsmenstennis.org, to see where and when help is still needed this Saturday evening.
Want to help underwrite this important event? Sportsmen’s will always try to help organizations that serve vulnerable youth throughout the city of Boston. As a non-profit, we need your help to insure that we can continue to meet these types of needs. If you can provide a donation in any amount, to offset our court costs (which cover all of our utilities, insurance, front desk staff and other general operating expenses), coaches and refreshments, please click here and make a fully tax deductible contribution in any amount. If you’d like to donate refreshments, please reach out to Gayna directly.
Thank you for your support of this important event!
