The Second Annual FREE, Community-based Lupus Educational Forum will be held on Saturday, June 10th from 12-4pm at Sportsmen’s in Dorchester, MA. The title will be Healthy Living with Lupus and again, it will be cosponsored by our BWH Lupus Center, the Lupus Foundation of America, and Women of Courage support group.
This year based on patient feedback, there will be a psychiatrist speak about depression and lupus, a nutritionist, a wellness coach, and a presentation on updates in lupus research and care. There will be a patient panel discuss how to talk about your lupus with others. Members of the local support group there as well as breakout sessions with the speakers.
This event is free and open to patients, family and friends. Parking is available and lunch will be served.
