USTA Coaching Workshops

Sportsmen’s has been selected by the U.S. Tennis Association as a USTA Coaching academy, one of only two in New England, and will host various levels of workshops throughout the year.

Open to all, these sessions are a great way to explore coaching as a career or part-time endeavor, provide professional development opportunities to experienced coaches, or help grow the sport of tennis at the grassroots level while building skills and confidence.

Registration requires creating a free USTA Coaching profile (this is different from a regular USTA account). Once your coaching profile is set up, you can register for upcoming workshops, earn coaching badges, access professional development resources, and take advantage of equipment discounts and other benefits available to registered coaches. Some coaches may also be eligible for free or subsidized equipment through USTA programs that support coach development and community tennis initiatives.

  • Developing Junior and Adult Players: New dates to be determined, Cost is $185 – Registration coming soon (you must create a USTA Coaching account to register)
  • Applied Coaching Skills Private: July 11–12, registration opens soon
  • Applied Coaching Skills Group: September 12–13, registration opens soon
