Boston Police Commissioner Evans & Superintendent-in-Chief Gross at Volley Against Violence.

Two weeks ago, about 130 kids and adults took to the Sportsmen’s Tennis & Enrichment Center courts for a not-so-typical Friday night of Volley Against Violence.

As always, there was tennis for all ages and skill levels. There were 20 pizzas and about a hundred Burger King kids’ meals, and there were police officers, coaches and volunteers to make sure that everyone had a fun, safe Friday night.

What made this evening just a little different was the woman with the camera, capturing all the action and interviewing some of the players.

We’re thrilled to announce that the segment on Volley Against Violence is currently scheduled to air this coming Monday morning, April 18th, on your local NBC Station! The Today show airs from 7 – 9 AM, and we’re told we will be featured in the 8 AM hour. Please tune in, and be sure to tell your friends!
