Bill was many things: someone who loved and was loved by his family and friends alike; a well-respected medical clinician, academic, and administrator; and an avid tennis player. For more than thirty years as part of the Mass General Brigham community, he followed Sportsmen’s with admiration and steady support.

When he retired, Bill became especially interested in Sportsmen’s Center for Community Wellness. He recognized how powerful it would be for local families to learn how to cook healthy, budget-friendly meals together. The idea of a teaching kitchen resonated with him and reflected his belief in practical, meaningful ways to improve lives.

Creating this fund is a way of carrying Bill’s vision forward. It honors his commitment to wellness, community, and opportunity. A teaching kitchen at Sportsmen’s will bring his hope to life and create healthier futures for families for years to come.
